Locking & Unlocking a Role
When a role is locked, the permission cannot be updated or archived without the sufficient permissions.
To lock a role, click the Lock button and then OK to confirm:

You will now see a success message and that the role is locked.
Notice that a lock icon has appeared next to the role label, the update / archive buttons are now disabled and that there is now an Unlock button.

You will also be unable to save permissions.

Unlocking a Role
To unlock a role, click the Unlock button and OK to confirm:

You will see a success message and that the role is now unlocked.
Notice that the lock icon has disappeared, the update / archive buttons are now enabled and that there is now a Lock button.

You will now be able to save permissions.
